CLA EuroCup eBasketball Season 35: Season Review

The 35th season of CLA EuroCup eBasketball has ended, and we are excited to present an overview of the entire season. Over two weeks, you had the opportunity to watch the best players from each region compete against one another to see who would make it into the top four.

In Ukraine, we witnessed performances from the strongest top four, who have repeatedly shown us their skills in the tournament's final stages. The regional leader, "The_Professor," once again claimed first place, outpacing his competitors by more than 10 points. "BlackJesus" secured second place and held onto it firmly. Despite playing fewer series than his opponents, "Sparrow" skillfully took third place in the standings. In fourth place, we see "Jelly."

In Croatia, we observed an intense battle, which ultimately resulted in a lack of strong performance at EuroCup itself, as too much effort was spent on securing a spot in the top four. "Skeletron" and "General77" shared first and second place, becoming the undisputed leaders of their country. "cimke" took third place, with a bit of luck, as personal reasons led to player substitutions. "Eldorado" needed just 13 points to reach the final part of the tournament and showcase his skills to the other players.

The situation was the most interesting in Poland, the region known for its stable player lineup. EuroCup champions from previous seasons did not advance, meaning we will see new names. "Gdm" confidently claimed first place in the standings. The situation became more intriguing further down, as "Venom" and "KD_23_13" were only one point apart, taking second and third places, respectively. In fourth place, we have "sadalczyk," who, despite a shaky start, managed to secure the last spot and the opportunity to compete in the tournament.

We are happy to share the results of the group stage of CLA EuroCup eBasketball Season 35, which took place on Saturday. We remind you that the top two participants from each group, who take first and second places, advance to the next stage—the "Final Six." The matches are incredibly intense, as everyone strives to represent their region with honor and move forward.

Group A: Gave us two players who will take prize spots in the next stage of the tournament. "The_Professor" and "KD_23_13" demonstrated extraordinary skills and earned the same number of points. The situation was decided by the difference in points scored, with the Ukrainian player having the advantage.

Group B: Brings us a Polish-Ukrainian duo led by "Venom." "Sparrow" finished the stage with two victories, securing his spot in the next round. This group had some of the strongest representatives from the Croatian division, but due to technical issues, they were unable to mount a strong challenge.

Group C: "Gdm" confidently took first place, dominating his opponents and finishing the group stage with two wins and one draw. "sadalczyk," with a mirror image of the previous player's record—one win and two draws—took second place in the standings and claimed the last spot in the "Final Six."

It is worth noting that due to technical reasons, the first matches of the Croatian players had to be canceled, adding even more intensity and emotion to the group stage.

Analyzing the final part of our tournament, the best players from all regions battled against each other to see who would take first place. While the outcome was known, as "The_Professor" confidently claimed the title, with three wins and two draws, securing the prestigious first place and winning the cup.

However, the fight for second and third place was fierce. This thrilling conclusion could rival many world tournaments, as the difference in points scored between second and third place was just one. The player under the nickname "Gdm" won the silver medal, while "KD_23_13" had to settle for bronze.

We want to thank all the players who participated in this season. Your hard work, dedication, and passion for the game made this tournament a huge success.

Best regards,

The CLA Team
