In Ukraine, we witnessed a surprising final four, as two newcomers made it to the final stage of the tournament for the first time. Regional leader “D3VA” once again secured first place, outscoring his competitors by over 6 points. “Keeviex” confidently took second place, with a 20-point lead over the others. The fight for third and fourth place was far more dramatic. In the end, “Nederfox” managed to handle the pressure and clinch third place by a single point, while “Jur_Kr” finished fourth.
In Croatia, we saw a fierce competition among seasoned finalists, all of whom had previous final-stage experience and proved to be worthy opponents. “Banderas” confidently took first place in the regional qualifier. What was particularly impressive was the narrow margin between the remaining players, with only 1 point separating each. “TUNA13” came in second, boasting an outstanding goal difference of +156 goals. “TheKum53” secured third place, and “Th3Prod1gy” held onto fourth, taking the final spot in the playoff stage.
In Poland, a situation similar to Ukraine unfolded, as two new names emerged in the tournament: “franekfox” and “UDiplomat.” “Majkel” confidently claimed first place on the leaderboard, while “Ostat” and “UDiplomat” shared second and third places. Despite a rough start, “franekfox” managed to recover after a series of matches and secured a spot in the group stage, finishing fourth.
We are happy to share the results of the CLA EuroCup eFootball Season 40 group stage, which took place on Saturday. The tournament structure consists of a group stage, with the top two players advancing to the upper bracket, while the third and fourth place move to the lower bracket.
Group A: “D3VA” and “TUNA13” delivered impressive performances, advancing to the upper bracket. Despite a difficult opening match for the Ukrainian player, he regained his composure and went undefeated in the following matches. The Croatian player also had a tough start against strong opponents, but his second-place finish demonstrated his drive to win. In the lower bracket, we find two Polish players, “Ostat” and “UDiplomat,” along with “Nederfox” from Ukraine and “Th3Prod1gy” from Croatia. These players showed great determination, but their lack of experience in tournament settings prevented them from achieving their desired results.
Group B: This group showcased a Polish-Croatian duo led by “Majkel.” “TheKum53” finished with two wins and two draws, securing a spot in the upper bracket to face strong opponents. The group stage remained tense until the final match, as the Ukrainian derby determined the outcome. “Jur_Kr” managed to clinch the necessary points to advance.
Analyzing the final stage of the tournament, the best players from each region fought fiercely to claim first place and take home the final cup in this version of the game. We watched as some players dropped from the upper to the lower bracket and continued to fight for a spot in the finals, while others, considered underdogs, surprised everyone with their determination.
Let’s start with the early matches in the lower bracket. In four matches, we saw new players eliminated, signaling the upcoming matches would be intense and exciting. In the upper bracket, players who lost still had a chance to compete against those who advanced from the lower bracket. One player who seized this opportunity was “D3VA” from Ukraine, who defeated Poland’s “Ostat.” However, his next match against a Croatian opponent didn’t end as successfully, and we had to say goodbye to the Ukrainian gamer.
As for the final three, all were Croatian representatives. We want to emphasize that every region that participated would have been thrilled to see such a final bracket. “TheKum53” fought his way through the upper bracket with excellent results and confidently defeated his opponent, “Banderas,” in the final match to claim first place and raise the cup.
It’s worth noting that “Banderas” battled his way through the lower bracket and defeated two players who were direct rivals of “TheKum53.” As a result, “TUNA13” finished in third place and took home the bronze medal.
We would like to thank all the players who participated in this season. Your hard work, dedication, and passion for the game made this tournament incredibly exciting, emotional, and full of beautiful goals. We look forward to seeing you in the next season with new energy and even better skills.
Best regards,
The CLA Team
